Now that you’ve become a landowner, you may be wondering about our process. We’ve compiled a list of the most Frequently Asked Questions and answered them for you!
How do automatic payments work? ACH is an auto debit from your bank account each month for a specified amount of money. The money can be pulled on the first day of the month or in a different date that suits you best. It often takes up to 5 business days to process the money.
How does a money order work? A money order can be mailed in replace of a check to our mailing address – 445 E Cheyenne MTN BLVD STE C 180, Colorado Springs, CO, 80906.
What does the monthly payment that I make include? This includes the principal payment, a $10 note service charge, monthly taxes and HOA payments if there is one on the property.
What happens if I cease making the payments? Your loan will go into default after you are late for 30 days. Once you hit 60 days, and if you have not made arrangements to work out a payment, we will send a cancellation of contract.
When can I start building on the property? As soon as you have made your down payment and signed your contract for deed.
Do I have to pay off the property before I can use it? No! You can use it as soon as you put the down payment.
Can I finish paying a property sooner than expected? Yes! There is no pre-payment penalty.
When will I have the title of the property with my name on it? Once you make your last payment on your land, your warranty deed will be recorded within 60 days. You will receive an emailed copy, as well as the original recorded deed in the mail from the county recorder.
I want to buy another property from you. Do I get a benefit? Yes! We do discounts for our multiple property owners.
I want to recommend your company to my friends and family. Do I get a benefit from doing so? Yes, we would be more than happy to knock off one of your payments if a friend or family member buys a property from us.
I’m not happy with this property. Can I change it for another one available on your inventory? Yes, we do a 90 Day Happy Customer Guarantee. If you don’t love your land, we will find you something you do love or refund your money (minus the doc fee).
